What's on in Wiltshire this summer

We have put in a fair bit of work here on our beautiful Dairy. A fresh coat of paint inside and a brand new parking area. We encourage our visitors to sit and play outside with swingball, table tennis and a football goal all available. For those of you that bring bikes we have a secure shed for you. Plenty to do at the Dairy and plenty to do in Wiltshire this summer.

In this blog I'm going to list a few of the festivals on this year that are within reach of our lovely holiday let.

First of all we have Chippenham Folk Festival happening in May - https://www.chippfolk.co.uk/

24th to 27th May. Over 200 artists and performers already booked.

Salisbury has its own International Arts Festival - https://www.wiltshirecreative.co.uk/salisbury-international-arts-festival

This festival runs from the 26th May to 9th June and features world famous acts.

Much closer to home we have Devizes' own arts festival - https://www.devizesartsfestival.org.uk/

Now running for over forty years, the festival aims to bring a diverse, eclectic mixture of the best in music, literature, comedy and all the performing arts, making sure there is always something for everyone.

If you're into art and sculpture I can't recommend the Talos Art Gallery and Sculpture Garden highly enough. https://www.talosartgallery.co.uk/ Set in renovated barns and a beautiful garden full of diverse artwork it is definitely worth a visit. The Summer Exhibition 2024 will be open from 25th May to 21st July.

There are many other events around the county and these are just a few to whet the appetite.

Welcome to Wiltshire.
